  • E-Mail Perimeter Updated
    by Ruben Bybee
    October 2003
BMI has recently upgraded the perimeter protection for our e-mail servers. What this means to you is that your BMI e-mail box has the best possible protection against viruses, spams, directory harvest attacks, and other e-mail borne attacks. The perimeter servers work as a first line of defense and protect our internal servers. Currently our perimeter servers are seeing about 400,000 in bound e-mail messages each month. Over 290,000 of these messages are spam or viruses and are blocked before ever reaching our network. Click here for more information about our e-mail protection or you can login to your private quarantine center.
