"I don't know if you got the email I sent yesterday, so I am sending
another one to tell you that our problem has been resolved. I want to thank
Cheryl who spent over an hour with me on the phone trying to connect to bmi,
without success. Also, earlier I had talked to Matt who noticed a humming
noise on our phone line, and said that might be the problem causing me to
be unable to connect to bmi. After talking to both of them, I called the
phone company, who came out yesterday and fixed the humming noise, and low
and behold, I was then able to connect to bmi. I was very relieved, as I
thought the problem was in my modem."

The problem of disconnection was caused by my phone line. But a clean phone line in conjunction with the setting changes you walked me through shows a definite increase in transmission speed. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
