    October 2008
This month is a great topic for me!

My son is now in junior high and is a very environmentally conscious pre-teen. So, we are recycling. We are teaching each other what we can do to reduce, re-use and recycle.

Here are some helpful hints to get you started:  Recycle

Did you know that the EPA has a page dedicated for young people and teaching them about being green? EPA

Here are  little things you can do today to save our tomorrows: ivillage

This next site I am sharing with you is one of my favorites. It is full of great stories and wonderful ideas. It's an online go greenwebsite: GREEN

Now, I dont know if you believe global warming or not but I think it just makes sense to take care of our environment while we are here. I don't want to leave a mess for my kids to clean up. Wouldn't it be great to take a deep breath in town and breathe in clean, fresh air and not have to drive to the mountains to get that crisp air in your lungs? It's just a good idea to leave things better then we found them. Am I a bunny,-kissing tree hugger? Maybe, but I like it that way: Treehugger
