"I Wish" is the theme of this month's newsletter...and I Wish health, happiness and love to all of you and your friends and family! We are enjoying a snowy winter in the northwest this year. The kind of snow that makes the perfect snowman, blankets everything in bright white, and makes trips to the grocery store an adven...

No company will email you and ask for personal info. Nor will they give you a website link to go to and...

Fun Sites

Have a little time to kill? Looking for something fun to do? Here are a couple of great ideas:
BugCafe This is a free site that offers some fun games that you can play online with a friend! I personally play Bugwords (which is Scrabble), with my sister who lives several states away from me. One of the best things about it, is that after you play your turn, you can send a little message along with your play, to your opponent. It is an excellent way to keep in communication with family and friends that are close to you, but not "close by". Rather than spending time typing long informative emails every week...you can simply chit-chat back and forth through the game! Another nice feature of this site is that it does not contain a bunch of annoying advertising! You signup for free account, and then begin playing games with friends. Because the game is available through their site 24/7, you can play your turn, at your leisure. My sister and I take 1 to 3 turns a day, as time allows, and our games generally last us a week or two. They have other games that you can play in a similar manner, but I have only played Bugwords.
City Data This is an interesting site to go to, whether you are curious about another city, or especially if you are considering a move. This site has collected interesting photos, profiles and demographics of many US cities. It contains lots of information, lots of photos, maps etc. If you are curious about a city, just go to this site and type in the name. If the city name you type in has multiple locations, it will give you the list and you can click n the one that you are interested in. So...go ahead...type in Walla Walla and see where we are and what our city looks like! JigZone This site sports quick, fun jigsaw puzzles. Just click on the puzzle and work the puzzle online! You also have the option to cut the puzzle into how many pieces you want, so YOU choose how easy or difficult it is. The puzzles change daily and you never have to worry about your cat stealing the pieces!

Welcome one, welcome all. And so a new year has begun to pass us by. It's funny how the days can seem so very long, and yet the months and years seem to pass so quickly. Soon we'll all be starting our gardens, and mowing the lawn. It seems like I just put my lawn mower away for the winter. Hmm...oh well...such as life!
By far, the m...
