Airlines to do away with paper tickets

The world's airlines agreed to full electronic ticketing by 2007. This means no more paper tickets. This was agreed on by 700 executives gathered in Singapore for the annual International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the World Air Transport Summit. Airlines are facing 3 billion in losses this year due to soaring fuel costs.
